    Operating Responsibly

    At JW Steakhouse, we are committed to reducing and preventing our food waste by practicing the following initiatives: 

    Smart Technology: Using WINNOW- an AI-based tool, all food waste is weighed and identified when placed in the WINNOW bin. This allows our kitchen team to operate sustainably and cut food waste by revising portion sizes and reviewing food types for future purchases.

    Sharing is caring: Family style dishes are available to share and identifiable on our menu with ‘a leaf' symbol. Our dedicated team are also on hand to provide recommendations and guidance on portion sizes, minimising wastage.
